JAKE FOURACRE PROFILE
Jake Fouracre is one of Australian motor sport’s shining talents.
Jake has already established a reputation as a leading competitor and winner in every category of motor sport in which he’s competed.
Initially, a stand-out in karting, Jake’s car racing debut saw him finish 2nd in the 2010 Victorian Formula Vee Championship, only narrowly missing out on the title and winning the ‘Rookie of the Year Award’.
With a year of car racing experience behind him, 2011 saw him step up to the Formula Ford category, competing in the highly competitive Victorian Championship as a privateer.
By the end of the season Jake had enough points to be named the Victorian Formula Ford champion.
In 2012 Jake raced in various categories and was selected as a CAMS Rising Star, competing at the opening round of the Australian Formula Ford championship supporting the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, finishing 5th on debut in the national championship.
Jake also ran in the Australian Formula 3 championship were he finished 2nd overall at Phillip Island (Australia's fastest race track) and competed in the Aussie Racing Car series, finishing 6th out of 32 in the series at the Gold Coast 600 in front of a national crowd of thousands of spectators.
In addition to his on-track accomplishments, Jake is a key member of the advanced driver training team at the AMG Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy, where he shares his skill and knowledge behind the wheel with AMG Mercedes-Benz valued clientelle.
Moving into Australian GT sports cars, in 2015 Jake raced a Dodge Viper - claiming pole, fastest lap, a qualifying record and a runaway overall victory in the 25th Anniversary 'Phillip Island Tourist Trophy' event amongst a set of esteemed peers.
The dominating drive would be the catalyst for his launch into the 2016 Australian GT Endurance Championship, driving the Audi R8 GT Ultra under The Melbourne Performance Centre Racing Team banner.
